I may have a small class, but  we’re going to make the most of it.  I gave the students a ‘brainstorming’ project in class today that they seemed to like.  We have two more during the semester.  At least once per meeting in one class or the other we view “The Manager’s Hot Seat”, which is a work place senario that we watch and select options for actions.  It certainly beats me doing nothing but lecturing.  I gave the students a CityU pen and a key chain today.

I had a cocktail party to attend just up the street.  The USQ director attended and the people identified in the photo as USQ staff.  The company hosting was GHD:

GHD is an international network of professional and technical consultants serving clients in the global markets of water, energy & resources, environment, property & buildings, and transportation.

GHD is in 15 countries and recently landed an office in Seattle with Rosewater (Rosemont?) Engineering.
