Monday, October 5

Mom was up at 5:30 am and I before 6.  Everything went like clock work.  We got wheelchair assistance for her at Brisbane and in Sydney.  We got her luggaged checked through Sydney so she wouldn’t have to handle them.

I left the airport and trained to Ipswich, took a cab to my apartment, and got the car for my trip to campus.  I have to get back to work – NOW!  I’m in countdown to October 31 and I have a lot to do before then – meetings, writings, grading, reports, packing, presentations, outings, etc.

This morning I got to campus in time for a tea.  John Cole introduced me to someone he is wooing to the Sustainable Business Centre.  He asked me to meet with him before I leave.  I’m meeting with the director tomorrow, after I have breakfast with a few folks from a local nonprofit about volunteer management.  I also meet with Geoff about grades tomorrow.

Nothing all that exciting today.  The calm beofre the storm.
